Check it out <a href="http://lilyrazz.blogspot.nl/2014/03/another-try-and-give-away.html" target="_blank">here!</a> The give away stops on March 21st.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17436164122417717229noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-263676803423390884.post-89954658757668757792014-02-28T09:45:00.000-08:002014-02-28T09:45:16.480-08:00Moving back to Lily RazzHi Everyone! It's moving day! Today I am moving this blog (back) to my main blog: <a href="http://lilyrazz.blogspot.nl/" target="_blank">Lily Razz</a>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVZIjuA0uwcdzkWYQIgiqm-egWBn7R2gMnLt6M_Ks6VbUu31ILcSyXUjmQ4v3jEMLuP4oKdR3jte6b8hCPIB1RfGgPZff6aMYg1dY3sfgp0rAT2LSZpLZLy89rYF-bDfW7vaYskTs6U3c/s1600/foxy+lady.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVZIjuA0uwcdzkWYQIgiqm-egWBn7R2gMnLt6M_Ks6VbUu31ILcSyXUjmQ4v3jEMLuP4oKdR3jte6b8hCPIB1RfGgPZff6aMYg1dY3sfgp0rAT2LSZpLZLy89rYF-bDfW7vaYskTs6U3c/s1600/foxy+lady.jpg" height="320" width="238" /></a></div>
<br />
Why? Well, at one point - a few years ago - I made the silly decision to add a blog.. next to my original Lily Razz blog, where I'd blog about crafts.. Hence the blogname "Lily Gets Crafty".. Turns out... two blogs is a hassle, and redundant! Since all my social media is linked to "Lily Razz", I thought moving back would be the right decision.. <br />
<br />
Are you coming along with me? I'll be giving away an Etsy Gift Card to all of you who do!<br />
<br />
Happy Friday!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17436164122417717229noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-263676803423390884.post-58382677752824614472014-02-23T11:57:00.003-08:002014-02-23T11:57:52.721-08:00Short YoP UpdateHello! This will be a very short update since I don't have too much progress to show.. Of my YoP list items I only worked on <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/sweet-scarf-of-mine" target="_blank">Sweet Scarf of Mine</a>. <br />
<br />
It's nearly finished and I really like the randomness of the stripes.. I only have to finish the tassels/fringe to it. I already finished on one side, but I think they're too short. So I'll have to redo them. I'm excited that I can almost wear it!<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Other than that, I released a pattern this week! It's called <a href="http://lilygetscrafty.blogspot.nl/2014/02/fish-candy-free-crochet-pattern.html" target="_blank">Fish Candy</a>, it's a really simple and easy pattern, but I really loved making/designing something amigurumi-like! I'd love to try to continue making my own patterns.. </div>

<br />
I have so many crafts I want to do! I got some lovely crafty supplies (more on that in my <a href="http://lilygetscrafty.blogspot.nl/2014/02/a-few-new-supplies.html" target="_blank">earlier post</a>) and my hands are itching to do everything!! So I have been doing just that.. working on a bit of everything. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's Wags the Wienerdog in progress.. He's more wiener than dog at the moment..</div>

I finally summoned up the courage to use the sewing machine! I made my first envelope pillow! I thought this would be the pillow I'd sew my crocheted <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/crochet-zig-zag-pillow" target="_blank">Chevron Winter Pillow Cover</a> on, but I kind of like the pillow as is... <br />

Whether I buy yarn, paper, fabric or something else for my crafting needs, it always makes me giddy. But the more I get, the more I want.. Paradox?<br />
<br />
So what do we have here... Some funky fun lettering! And washi tape! Yay!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXuZdLpevmw0UpnKYq2nfZ4NXxbUZc4sSzD5ZUskS6-zLuuD9zkzlKepug7ZPvh0YrwKmRlUfRK0Gf1yRHIqZmkI6zyhP_rAjn7Kof1VfYaqVt_cK6CwnR_e2_JuoxYBr9fhkKDEcdIDA/s1600/IMG_4502.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXuZdLpevmw0UpnKYq2nfZ4NXxbUZc4sSzD5ZUskS6-zLuuD9zkzlKepug7ZPvh0YrwKmRlUfRK0Gf1yRHIqZmkI6zyhP_rAjn7Kof1VfYaqVt_cK6CwnR_e2_JuoxYBr9fhkKDEcdIDA/s1600/IMG_4502.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a name='more'></a><br />
And an embroidery starter kit. I've always wanted to learn embroidery, and when I saw this kit on sale, I knew I had to try it!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvTKkA8-6bhI97gBCG7Wt7NYrs0qIr0wEwsedUjx0N7NU3niLZ_pIHn_YIowN9Wum5V5vw02z-b8hohAolkkGpOTxSXcvAwvsjt1uf4mpitzHJ3xH-aY0Rd0ukmb54xFN1-nLR2revuBw/s1600/IMG_4500.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvTKkA8-6bhI97gBCG7Wt7NYrs0qIr0wEwsedUjx0N7NU3niLZ_pIHn_YIowN9Wum5V5vw02z-b8hohAolkkGpOTxSXcvAwvsjt1uf4mpitzHJ3xH-aY0Rd0ukmb54xFN1-nLR2revuBw/s1600/IMG_4500.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Oh and some fabrics! Yay! That's another thing I've always wanted to do.. Upgrade my sewing skills. With so many tutorials online, I just couldn't resist these lovely fabrics!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

It's time for WIP Wednesday again, and today is all about stripes. Cuz sometimes I just need to get my stripe on.<br />
<br />
The <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/hot-cold-microwavable-bag" target="_blank">Cozy Wrap</a> is coming along nicely, and I love that I decided not to make it in one color. I think it's about 30cm long now, and I have to decide whether I'll make it longer or not..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9KGIlV6Uz0iLZsARJqr8BWmMtaf1X4zu8PRV8VdQ-JCTYjKBwsDfRTxbR806qiTBE9f_r9Vj_LGEwFUnuvANdN2LtfqX42dJZEipMRI1xS9kZ8MkUXUGM0stQFfsBZwhj4RPZ79juByA/s1600/IMG_4488.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9KGIlV6Uz0iLZsARJqr8BWmMtaf1X4zu8PRV8VdQ-JCTYjKBwsDfRTxbR806qiTBE9f_r9Vj_LGEwFUnuvANdN2LtfqX42dJZEipMRI1xS9kZ8MkUXUGM0stQFfsBZwhj4RPZ79juByA/s1600/IMG_4488.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<em><a href="http://izzyscrochet.blogspot.ca/2012/05/hotcold-microwavable-bag.html" target="_blank">Free Pattern here</a></em></div>
<br />
Remember <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/sweet-scarf-of-mine" target="_blank">Sweet Scarf of Mine</a> I started last weekend? It was just a few rows long then..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a name='more'></a>This is how it's looking today. It's hard to capture the purple yarn color, but I do like it very, very much.. <br />

<br />
No yarn cut yet, and still stripey!<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfHhtohnOFdT_bWEJhD71MtDtJfRS2_nnl07Y9AODXFc9CTy80FaS0TLVDcHU7-p4sF981QwitMq2w-nsyAn9FoFOcAtRY8sW5rj5pZLdEYmv1vwVUSTrwa2qXI3asy8pKHF2XazBsPzA/s1600/IMG_4459.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfHhtohnOFdT_bWEJhD71MtDtJfRS2_nnl07Y9AODXFc9CTy80FaS0TLVDcHU7-p4sF981QwitMq2w-nsyAn9FoFOcAtRY8sW5rj5pZLdEYmv1vwVUSTrwa2qXI3asy8pKHF2XazBsPzA/s1600/IMG_4459.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/cute" target="_blank">These cuties</a> were not on my YoP list, but when I saw the pattern I knew I just had to make one. And when I finished the first pink cutie, I just had to make another one! So there they are, a couple of cuties.. I'm curious how they're both made with the same hook and yarn, yet the green cutie is slightly smaller/shorter than the pink one.. Is it the stuffing then?<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>I have also been experimenting with knitting stripes without needing to cut the yarn every time I change color. There are probably lots of tutorials out there but I wanted to see if I could figure it out myself.. I think I ripped it out 3times now before starting over and trying a new method, but I think that this fourth try is very close to what I had in mind! I want to make a scarf out of it. I'm dubbing it "<a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/sweet-scarf-of-mine" target="_blank">Sweet Scarf of Mine</a>". But again, this was not on my YoP-list!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1hWv2hKkfdPsgX_CTOlp1NrrOJfSJssArivbBGnB0M4VtANqiaNMbePm0EiYCN5Y-VEbsTFVGLLaQA-xsvBifOqbQctBbA4aJKQ6ZrGuL8fZfDRmBA9RAUUX3hhmMMU6lQwboRd2fEvY/s1600/IMG_4476.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1hWv2hKkfdPsgX_CTOlp1NrrOJfSJssArivbBGnB0M4VtANqiaNMbePm0EiYCN5Y-VEbsTFVGLLaQA-xsvBifOqbQctBbA4aJKQ6ZrGuL8fZfDRmBA9RAUUX3hhmMMU6lQwboRd2fEvY/s1600/IMG_4476.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I'm determined to also work on my YoP-list-projects this week. In fact, I've started on <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/amigurumi-wiener-dog" target="_blank">Wiener Dog</a> yesterday. I'm calling him Wags... I haven't made pictures of him yet because there's not much special to see yet...<br />
<br />
I also took the <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/hot-cold-microwavable-bag" target="_blank">Microwavable bag</a> out of my WIP basket.. I unravelled a bit because I decided I wanted to mix in a different color.. I wrote a <a href="http://lilygetscrafty.blogspot.nl/2013/10/schnuggle-packets-and-cozy-wraps.html" target="_blank">post</a> a while ago about different yarns, linings and fillings for hot/cold packs, and I'm excited to try different fillings I haven't tried before.. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Sun is shining, flowers are blooming.. It's like winter has gone crazy!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjy4eJjMh5WSKiuoboohiB8EhCvfYYKuSkXmyTEopq3Ce71sen3XeS6vkF0Mespy4giTKrszYRINg_xJDqV3KdUJvbgn2Fnl4i0MTH31i8swmzXWW3KVwo3g8gsuKWvaJIdzryPDLctxOg/s1600/IMG_4242.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjy4eJjMh5WSKiuoboohiB8EhCvfYYKuSkXmyTEopq3Ce71sen3XeS6vkF0Mespy4giTKrszYRINg_xJDqV3KdUJvbgn2Fnl4i0MTH31i8swmzXWW3KVwo3g8gsuKWvaJIdzryPDLctxOg/s1600/IMG_4242.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a>I'm trying out <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=pCvJ6Oqf1Ao" target="_blank">'eastern european style knitting'</a>. It's like continental style but different ;-) When I started knitting not so long ago, continental style just wouldn't work with me and my clumsy fingers. But I was determined to learn knitting so I tried the english style (with the 'throwing') which worked for me. Then I started 'flicking', but I still held the yarn in my right hand.. I've now knitted a few rows eastern european style on my basketweave blanket and I think I'm getting the hang of it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I've also started making several spring colored balls! It's a bit random, but that's what happens when spring is in my head! I need color! I'm not sure what I'll make with them though, maybe make a caterpillar?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And of course Valentine's day is coming up, I wonder if I should make something .. A cuddly toy? A garland? mmm.. still thinking about it.. Are you making something for Valentine's day?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_JAhQtbRrNnue8McOKOTnvguY4bs98SC92XrZoKuAyFNfjSBMuJa8nBrg4jHNohAGDFDs1SFWWhvBWgFLiIpMJM3MT1gMARb8WmMsrzu2ZCIVG4R5qCQUdPkDEg8f8MI6IZrGuNofCP8/s1600/portfolio-38-afbeelding.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_JAhQtbRrNnue8McOKOTnvguY4bs98SC92XrZoKuAyFNfjSBMuJa8nBrg4jHNohAGDFDs1SFWWhvBWgFLiIpMJM3MT1gMARb8WmMsrzu2ZCIVG4R5qCQUdPkDEg8f8MI6IZrGuNofCP8/s1600/portfolio-38-afbeelding.jpg" height="287" width="400" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
It's already filled with some lovely quotes and pictures, so it's very inviting to fill it with more quotes and pictures, drawings and doodles, etc!<br />
<br />
I am always intimidated by the wonderful scrapbook creations I see on internet, but I've decided to treat this diary more as a scrappy smashbook, where I can just smash it all in..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioJo1fSbSwOVdNyFfWCZds15rVBcrc7F_JoSD2DtJDpA1KF04B83mPFn5hu7ltTgekxoCYDksYzrbWSZAUI-ih8YLUCgsZ444HUTHDwWPaDwcL0h5zqhj1n_TB2m8XAQrNYg2M-ywtemQ/s1600/IMG_4424.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioJo1fSbSwOVdNyFfWCZds15rVBcrc7F_JoSD2DtJDpA1KF04B83mPFn5hu7ltTgekxoCYDksYzrbWSZAUI-ih8YLUCgsZ444HUTHDwWPaDwcL0h5zqhj1n_TB2m8XAQrNYg2M-ywtemQ/s1600/IMG_4424.jpg" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
I also got this <a href="http://www.lg.com/ae/pocket-photo/lg-PD221" target="_blank">LG PoPo</a> (Pocket Photo Printer) for Christmas. It connects with your Phone through bluetooth, you can adjust the picture (add borders, filters etc.) and you can print out lovely small pictures immediately! <br />
<br />
Below pages show what my head felt like the past 2weeks.. chaotic but happy...<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
Turns out I'm a dirty lady. I read this tip on Pinterest: <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEGT2A1duFOV20RN3OK2f027bcml8GPCdSAnXj6HLZOQXgaoBb1S6k6OCMd277p_9kHA9g9WYt0PN_8Ry8RYSTdij4HmD69K5CkDScvEkBW0BZDwINzAckhIwcPPprOpTr94GDD60Xf8o/s1600/5553a5ef5b40a853afa24c53e028550a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEGT2A1duFOV20RN3OK2f027bcml8GPCdSAnXj6HLZOQXgaoBb1S6k6OCMd277p_9kHA9g9WYt0PN_8Ry8RYSTdij4HmD69K5CkDScvEkBW0BZDwINzAckhIwcPPprOpTr94GDD60Xf8o/s1600/5553a5ef5b40a853afa24c53e028550a.jpg" height="400" width="280" /></a></div>
<br />
It does make sense, I just never thought about it.. I'm washing them today. <br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>I've been finalizing my <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/crochet-zig-zag-pillow" target="_blank">Chevron Winter Pillow Cover</a>. I've decided to sew an envelope pillow cover out of fabric, and sew my crochet onto the fabric.. Now if I could just overcome my sewing-machine-anxiety...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoAuHACQvbBWaPj3GA1rJbI6UmQW0tfMYE-JDE7hbBFturS7TsAizneyTzMU_dL161qg1r-ZF3ZhpCrmy6bt8N6qOXmxORL4xmS9svwonMSJqXwZr2OyL_UmspIeeKlwJMq9W4uf336rc/s1600/IMG_4348.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoAuHACQvbBWaPj3GA1rJbI6UmQW0tfMYE-JDE7hbBFturS7TsAizneyTzMU_dL161qg1r-ZF3ZhpCrmy6bt8N6qOXmxORL4xmS9svwonMSJqXwZr2OyL_UmspIeeKlwJMq9W4uf336rc/s1600/IMG_4348.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
And I finally took <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/crochet-spring-bunny" target="_blank">Tinkerbunny</a> out of hibernation and here she is! Finished and everything! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijBDw_XnKX8xBB1Qde8BdgzidqOQtlJVwPVUlrzltkBd2ubPNd0JYbnE7dfnPbZzZb6qb54hsvNz2JYe6RzDr8SPx2xltV8HFzMu4b4LFApY-O8969dmQRhJaEre8nYE9DweagaHUSvNc/s1600/IMG_4335.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijBDw_XnKX8xBB1Qde8BdgzidqOQtlJVwPVUlrzltkBd2ubPNd0JYbnE7dfnPbZzZb6qb54hsvNz2JYe6RzDr8SPx2xltV8HFzMu4b4LFApY-O8969dmQRhJaEre8nYE9DweagaHUSvNc/s1600/IMG_4335.jpg" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
It took me almost a year to assemble the parts. Instead of being ashamed, I'm proud I did it! I can't assemble amigurumi if I'm not in the mood or I will go bonkers.. <br />
<br />
One last thing I just had to share: Nala will only sleep in her bed when she has the <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/easy-cat-cage-nubby-blanket" target="_blank">blanket</a> I made for her. I discovered this when I took it out to wash it - she wouldn't sleep or sit or lie in this bed! She'd find other places to sleep.. After washing I put it back and there she is.. cuddled up and <strike>spinning</strike> - woops! I used the Dutch word for <em><strong>purring</strong></em> - like crazy.. <br />

I'm so happy we're halfway through the week. Last couple of days have been a bit chaotic and I'm hopeful that from tomorrow, life will be a bit more mellow..<br />
<br />
Since I last blogged about my "beanie-block", I decided to just give it a go. I just picked a pattern and I started hooking! And with some bulky yarn and a 10mm hook, it's working up fast!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbIXU4yLEnv-qTWKJyH2ZRpvMLhUKenPQpt2onsPGdffDHNAdBkragKYQUxk6456HN0FfhyVHtxckq5UwsiTm-o_NKN7W6KH-OR3Q4gl7ghgThCpKVoPAyelZt8Es7kx9OdygfsZAXDiI/s1600/IMG_4282.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbIXU4yLEnv-qTWKJyH2ZRpvMLhUKenPQpt2onsPGdffDHNAdBkragKYQUxk6456HN0FfhyVHtxckq5UwsiTm-o_NKN7W6KH-OR3Q4gl7ghgThCpKVoPAyelZt8Es7kx9OdygfsZAXDiI/s1600/IMG_4282.jpg" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Sorry about the blank-face pic, but I really didn't like the ones where I was smiling.. Let's move on quickly!<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>My neighbour gave me this lovely booklet with cute mini crochet patterns, sweet huh? The title of the book is 'Crochet mini dogs and cats' and as I quickly started hooking, I realised that they weren't kidding with the term "<strong><em>mini</em></strong>"! The body of the cat-to-be in the picture is about 3cm. Teenie!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In other news, fiance had given me an incredible lovely set of dishes for my birthday last week.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And... he managed to break one plate almost immediately! Poor plate..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span class="st"></span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzoXxerLJIwBZGR1Bg6uJM3OA8sLiWYPqhoW5GKAKierCkqGFR2rkAYQBu9XSl_tibCjFpUcRj26ur3fAwKj_VwwAVIZMmOVLtAGyng94HXUq_WCzyutUi38_NTXl50urJDFU0Ho8S9yw/s1600/IMG_4291.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzoXxerLJIwBZGR1Bg6uJM3OA8sLiWYPqhoW5GKAKierCkqGFR2rkAYQBu9XSl_tibCjFpUcRj26ur3fAwKj_VwwAVIZMmOVLtAGyng94HXUq_WCzyutUi38_NTXl50urJDFU0Ho8S9yw/s1600/IMG_4291.jpg" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I told him not to throw away any of the pieces, since I heard about <strong>Kintsugi</strong> sometime in 2013... Kintsugi is <span class="st">the japanese art of <em>"repairing with gold to create a perfectly imperfect piece of beauty." </em></span>Here's an example I found on the internet:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-wEt3PH46nhOhE_xZjPpN7Gp0c7QAK07xXR4IabeLWec4ndWw08DMAh67auVWXjaffj8LFkAnmiF4j7VZmnqnniBeUbAVM66F1i8LZtCWb5BvsY5e1sQVH1sLc7OYIPTZHpV2Odf5zWI/s1600/naamloos.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-wEt3PH46nhOhE_xZjPpN7Gp0c7QAK07xXR4IabeLWec4ndWw08DMAh67auVWXjaffj8LFkAnmiF4j7VZmnqnniBeUbAVM66F1i8LZtCWb5BvsY5e1sQVH1sLc7OYIPTZHpV2Odf5zWI/s1600/naamloos.png" height="280" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<em>"By messy mending you emphasise the marks and scars of a product giving it a new perspective and beauty while offer it longevity"</em></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am so going to do this with my plate! It'll be my way to say "Perfect is overrated" to myself, or "love yourself despite your flaws" whilst crafting and having fun.. Yea!</div>

And happy Sunday to you! I don't have much to show you this week, since I've mostly spent my days scrapbooking..<br />
<br />
I worked a bit on my <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/crochet-zig-zag-pillow" target="_blank">Chevron Winter Pillow</a>, but I didn't bother taking a picture since there wasn't much difference to see.. I did however start with the knitting version of the basketweave stitch! It's one of the many stitches I wanted to learn.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGxarAfsSz5c2uMZGvb3o5PPBHAv156EkmKeVfWcqBJCwDNtCRk4mfNU4vbX_w6SWamM84Z2rdRjgtQ1doxPkaXxwlgXqfrNqgy2kAbfemn1iDq4YqYBjzShDh2CHpDW-9wBcXJOD4rQs/s1600/IMG_4262.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It's kind of hard to see because of the yarncolor.. Sorry about that! I think I'm getting the hang of it, though I'm still experimenting (numbers of rows before switching, if that makes sense?) to see what kind of look I like. I have to say though, to me it does look very different from the crocheted version of the basketweave:</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTjJqOI7MqWOeG05O2drFkpFX1wLSZT0TKDgHPp3fhhn4wExoMOWS7mjfJhhawcbtdE741lF6dx-xBAtNawc1ixsPyyvozSKQ8xZBa0Qh5TyyOBY_yc2V05IOwQnuLX1sUZBrwjUeTcpg/s1600/IMG_3961.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTjJqOI7MqWOeG05O2drFkpFX1wLSZT0TKDgHPp3fhhn4wExoMOWS7mjfJhhawcbtdE741lF6dx-xBAtNawc1ixsPyyvozSKQ8xZBa0Qh5TyyOBY_yc2V05IOwQnuLX1sUZBrwjUeTcpg/s1600/IMG_3961.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Other than that I used a candy corn crochet pattern to make some cat-toys with some left-over yarn for the animal shelter.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwUoQox62rVI4xzVdPonNFnopMb3gnXpcbXTa9qQnHZYJ34_W3X8tKEunPGNo1z5eLLdxFYxlfldVUiKZFXdcrtFKqiDueIehGQUZll0XNIG2ZpfuSi3JnHBza1A86ltQRploVZJwb5RI/s1600/IMG_4228.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwUoQox62rVI4xzVdPonNFnopMb3gnXpcbXTa9qQnHZYJ34_W3X8tKEunPGNo1z5eLLdxFYxlfldVUiKZFXdcrtFKqiDueIehGQUZll0XNIG2ZpfuSi3JnHBza1A86ltQRploVZJwb5RI/s1600/IMG_4228.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I do hope the cats at the shelter will like it, my kitten Nala is not interested in these... She just loves to play with the yarn, just like her mommy. (litterally, she just steals the yarn when I'm not looking!)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoWd2RyLeHlbBRtZPfDtF1OHtYaFPS-tV-J0hSvq6ol1Wbpbz5lFrAAX8ef1TZ0r91KxEw-8t1HVm3DZYlUKU4ubcRHItAGV6vbf9SkAUDq7FnXzgJNmkvxzlR5A5zmKayNfBI6LoO5ww/s1600/IMG_3582.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoWd2RyLeHlbBRtZPfDtF1OHtYaFPS-tV-J0hSvq6ol1Wbpbz5lFrAAX8ef1TZ0r91KxEw-8t1HVm3DZYlUKU4ubcRHItAGV6vbf9SkAUDq7FnXzgJNmkvxzlR5A5zmKayNfBI6LoO5ww/s1600/IMG_3582.jpg" height="320" width="239" /></a></div>
<br />
I'd really love to make myself (or at least <em>start</em>) a beanie next week. I have been wanting to start making a beanie for a while now, but I just can't decide which pattern and which color(s)! Do I have "beanie block"?<br />
<br />

Lately I've been thinking a lot about freezer cooking.. I have to admit I rarely freeze my cooking, but supposedly freezer cooking would make your life easier and your cooking cheaper.. The only thing is, fiance and I are picky eaters and I'm having a hard time finding recipes that sound deliciously good to try! So far I've found 3 recipes that I want to try:<br />
<br />
1. <a href="http://www.hotcouponworld.com/2012/01/freezer-meal-breakfast-burriotos/" target="_blank">Breakfast Burritos from Hot Coupon World</a><br />

<br />
<br />
2. <a href="http://www.annies-eats.com/2010/02/15/chicken-enchiladas/" target="_blank">Chicken Enchiladas from Annie's Eats</a><br />

<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
... I might have to search the web some more for more blogs/recipes. But how about you? Do you cook&freeze? What's your favourite meal to 'freezer cook'?</div>
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17436164122417717229noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-263676803423390884.post-76412649215167829162014-01-20T11:47:00.002-08:002014-01-20T11:49:34.413-08:00Floating between winter and spring...Does anyone else have that feeling that, on the one hand you're still enjoying Winter but on the other hand you wouldn't mind if Spring would come along? I'm still loving the scarfs, mittens, boots, sweaters and hot chocolate, but I would love to see the trees and flowers grow and sprout, and have baby bunnies and ducklings roaming around again!<br />
<br />
Last week I summoned up the courage to start another pillowcase project, and I found a pattern that would hopefully match better with the <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/seashore-afghan" target="_blank">Chevron Winter blanket</a>.. I figured if I didn't start soon, I'd postpone it untill next winter.. So here's the progress so far...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio-MAJCAdGWZ1Qzq8KwNVlCj_m1oand1HGL0PqB9j0lpJsAI3GfGqObVVt4xK-u4UWPt2gNmZYcMjnToIqobxf_RPzFxrK1NonBqyfmlnxS7ErarfuAGDboGbaMM56-wCsol0IdvimBd8/s1600/IMG_4237.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio-MAJCAdGWZ1Qzq8KwNVlCj_m1oand1HGL0PqB9j0lpJsAI3GfGqObVVt4xK-u4UWPt2gNmZYcMjnToIqobxf_RPzFxrK1NonBqyfmlnxS7ErarfuAGDboGbaMM56-wCsol0IdvimBd8/s1600/IMG_4237.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I'm positive this will be a better match than the <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/pillow" target="_blank">Puzzly Pillow</a> I frogged 2weeks ago, though it's coming out much smaller than I'd imagined so I might have to be creative how it'll fit around a pillow.. I might have to make another square or sew the back? Anybody have ideas?<br />
<br />
I finished the granny blanket last week as well! I just love how easy and fast those granny blankets work up! I especially liked this color combo, it really reminded me of Spring! (and some of you guys too! Yay!) <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYu3axpUtMQJAFGd_OvS1ExniCCKSX5GE0mYU5JHMhahkMm_T-9-McCmyV3TU_bb5OuOeQlSPfGgD9QooboenJdCz4LMk5IIj5yMk1cTJP9VtO5grMGfVQoen2plsKccB0vaV79DczIFE/s1600/IMG_4223.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYu3axpUtMQJAFGd_OvS1ExniCCKSX5GE0mYU5JHMhahkMm_T-9-McCmyV3TU_bb5OuOeQlSPfGgD9QooboenJdCz4LMk5IIj5yMk1cTJP9VtO5grMGfVQoen2plsKccB0vaV79DczIFE/s1600/IMG_4223.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So since then I've been in the 'Spring-mood' so to speak.. I want flowers in the house and Spring cleaning and colors and singing birds and all that! Then again, am I ready to not snuggle up under a blanket? Am I ready to not put on boots and not drink hot chocolates? Mmmmmmm...</div>

How was your week? I've had a bit of a surprising, lovely week, actually! I'm a bit hesitant by nature, so surprises - or anything unplanned for that matter - don't always work that well with me. But this week, with every new 'adventure' I was like, "why not?" and "let's try that!" I tried new recipes (for example, a combination of these two 'White Chili Recipes' <a href="http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/creamy-white-chili" target="_blank">1</a>, <a href="http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/white-bean-chili-recipe/index.html" target="_blank">2</a>), I met new people, went places I haven't gone before! I felt... free! ....I found this drawing that pretty much sums it up..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8oD7zEPP1_cB6SZW8rG5foMsnXPSDG5TZll6nLgnl7B8pObsXkJMJVlk8l3MK6zmy6ioRd9Fj1c_LOWbYcmoqmWs4RvvG7-w6UFQeGQ9yCnhX7bfhjONR9jtTqKtlJXQ8blTsfn0Zi08/s1600/d6c3d8c4ec4269d9f56167b14255c0be.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8oD7zEPP1_cB6SZW8rG5foMsnXPSDG5TZll6nLgnl7B8pObsXkJMJVlk8l3MK6zmy6ioRd9Fj1c_LOWbYcmoqmWs4RvvG7-w6UFQeGQ9yCnhX7bfhjONR9jtTqKtlJXQ8blTsfn0Zi08/s1600/d6c3d8c4ec4269d9f56167b14255c0be.jpg" height="385" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a>As for the YoP, I first have to share the adorable picture of my nephews wearing the <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/urban-jungle-crocheted-slouchy-beanie-3" target="_blank">Christmas Present Beanies</a> I made and shipped to Canada.. I think they look just adorable!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhraWiEtEFE0Ix6GfrWgd6w6SHyYrPjmcUMljFYb4wSihRIbl7xxORPxEJdfF2uk6tDdejyUrQa0A01no_iCKFTivQA6s1tomF1WZvZbA3TrnhE551jlNAlIxYLM3HtdlmpgbdZYcZt4Yg/s1600/photo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhraWiEtEFE0Ix6GfrWgd6w6SHyYrPjmcUMljFYb4wSihRIbl7xxORPxEJdfF2uk6tDdejyUrQa0A01no_iCKFTivQA6s1tomF1WZvZbA3TrnhE551jlNAlIxYLM3HtdlmpgbdZYcZt4Yg/s1600/photo.jpg" height="370" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
And after <a href="http://lilygetscrafty.blogspot.nl/2014/01/out-with-old.html" target="_blank">last weeks' pillowcase 'failure'</a>, I decided not to try another pillow project... What I did was finally, finally finish my <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/anthro-inspired-crochet-braided-headband" target="_blank">Lulu Retro Headband</a>! Yay!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiveK6EWkry9eL83iWMEh0iC24h7v5dBRAobNhGEBKDCHcVcOCVUTB64LrEd6BmnIIeiuuhtl8fQgfqJ_NHz8dPlHRSLuSkOc5-OB0E1Y3wniPmgRTLW-D_77BR1Ltdd29CgO6M9bi_ONc/s1600/IMG_4180.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiveK6EWkry9eL83iWMEh0iC24h7v5dBRAobNhGEBKDCHcVcOCVUTB64LrEd6BmnIIeiuuhtl8fQgfqJ_NHz8dPlHRSLuSkOc5-OB0E1Y3wniPmgRTLW-D_77BR1Ltdd29CgO6M9bi_ONc/s1600/IMG_4180.jpg" height="400" width="300" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
I really love that it's crocheted in one piece, and the youtube video on how to put it together is really clear! I might make a knitted version as well!</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I also tried making my own 'DIY yarn bowl', an idea I picked up - I believe - at one of the YoP participants' blogs! Essentially, you need a bowl + a binder clip.. How fun!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTn7IVgqb_fTg0i8dkl81pOGlrx48drVO5qeKMNhdgHrUfEbzmjdbumryY_YbZq7DToWvEL2oRzhn3SBo53_xHoJenGqd6IxM-ehVy_Ioj-L5k9tTeNXPZfIao6hsdCFvKkLhpq7ejgN8/s1600/IMG_4171.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTn7IVgqb_fTg0i8dkl81pOGlrx48drVO5qeKMNhdgHrUfEbzmjdbumryY_YbZq7DToWvEL2oRzhn3SBo53_xHoJenGqd6IxM-ehVy_Ioj-L5k9tTeNXPZfIao6hsdCFvKkLhpq7ejgN8/s1600/IMG_4171.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
The project underneath the yarn bowl is a last-minute granny blanket I'm making. I'm using stash yarn and donate the blanket to the animal shelter. Another project not on my original YoP list, surprise surprise! <br />
<br />
I hope this week I'll be able to start on a beanie/hat on my YoP list. The forecast predicts some cold weather, so I really could use something nice and warm!<br />
<br />
Update YoP list <a href="http://lilygetscrafty.blogspot.nl/p/year-of-projects.html" target="_blank">here!</a><br />

How's this year treating you so far? I've been obsessed with cleaning, organizing.. and some more cleaning this week! So I didn't spend much time on crafting, or is frogging/taking out projects also crafting? It feels like un-crafting to me somehow. But I felt it was a necessary part of the organizing and getting rid of clutter! <br />
<br />
I did start on a pillow cover with left-over yarn from my <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/seashore-afghan" target="_blank">Chevron Winter Blanket</a>, which looks like this:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img class="photo_image" id="photo_image_36018252" src="http://images4-d.ravelrycache.com/uploads/Lily-Razz/197872205/IMG_3801_medium2.jpg" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<a name='more'></a>I thought I'd stash-bust by making a matching pillow cover. I picked out <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/pillow-2" target="_blank">this pattern</a> and this is my progress so far:<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdivrFeVhs8NImAmNroyoa2QzxkW2AHvVrQaFmKt4Y6QIgShFhEOMdHL5EKVM9L2AMywm3-bK84oCxyfggMd1S53Vromq-6Nif48CFYjuHpGsXNahbnzxKkO-mvnPz4vrpAHK-NNXJruM/s1600/IMG_4162.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdivrFeVhs8NImAmNroyoa2QzxkW2AHvVrQaFmKt4Y6QIgShFhEOMdHL5EKVM9L2AMywm3-bK84oCxyfggMd1S53Vromq-6Nif48CFYjuHpGsXNahbnzxKkO-mvnPz4vrpAHK-NNXJruM/s640/IMG_4162.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Looking at the picture, I'm not sure I very much like it! I thought it'd be nice to have a (colorwise) matching pillow, but that it wasn't really necessary to match patternwise... Again, looking at the picture, I'm not convinced I'll love this pillow as much as I love the blanket! Sigh... there we go again! ;-)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

Hope everyone had as great a Christmas as we did? Ours was filled with yummy food & drinks and a lot(!) of downtime. We've seen a lot of movies, from <em>'The Sound of Music'</em> to <em>'The Purge'</em> to <em>'The Lone Ranger'</em> to <em>'Terms of Endearment'</em>. And we started watching the 'Once Upon a Time - series'. Needles to say, I was able to do some crocheting and knitting, though I have to mention my pace was very relaxed.... <br />
<br />
I finished the <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/baby-snuggle-wrap" target="_blank">Snuggle Wrap</a> and decided it needed a crocheted border, and then the border needed an edging.. You can see some mistakes in my knitting, which I can accept since this blanket will also be donated to the animal shelter. I'm just happy I have a bit more knitting experience.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgX3XKqyW8_TmyjofmvqQuSMEscxOMP9dxtRklSxr67LmDlkVMgNBxG50RezpxCgJvdITkOq97XLHTsolHH3f9fL34WnkIzDyr3kMNZZ3v86S7-NgLzufhmAepTKRhIlSbAc4-8KFz4OQw/s1600/IMG_4124.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgX3XKqyW8_TmyjofmvqQuSMEscxOMP9dxtRklSxr67LmDlkVMgNBxG50RezpxCgJvdITkOq97XLHTsolHH3f9fL34WnkIzDyr3kMNZZ3v86S7-NgLzufhmAepTKRhIlSbAc4-8KFz4OQw/s400/IMG_4124.jpg" width="296" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a name='more'></a>And as always I have made a few 'fast gratificiation'-projects, which this week were amigurumi-style <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/catnip-squids" target="_blank">catnip squids</a>. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNbBp-9ZRuyIfm-Hr7x3jOBbzMo8bFulQ539DLcfYERvk6KtHfU5wHtE3oq1aVGS-PU6adOjW6Zj-Zojla3aeijps-ZWlNgwUpBJ-dzsxcA8nODvlmYVw4pX9UW5U1UxekEZ5crYuc6_o/s1600/IMG_4131.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNbBp-9ZRuyIfm-Hr7x3jOBbzMo8bFulQ539DLcfYERvk6KtHfU5wHtE3oq1aVGS-PU6adOjW6Zj-Zojla3aeijps-ZWlNgwUpBJ-dzsxcA8nODvlmYVw4pX9UW5U1UxekEZ5crYuc6_o/s400/IMG_4131.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also started knitting this <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/cable-braided-necklace" target="_blank">braided necklace</a>, which consists of two strips which need to be put together afterwards.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgALxqO-LaPW0XnHjVveQ1eG03-IEWSSktd1f9FGljTFYXCXCOGTUqCmnF_YIsWrGArwQwew4gFqEPwHg1RO7y92xycDJrmPOzuuTnaYAUe-iz4gVaI79_bH-lrlXhuUTIzNNVjKKVMrfs/s1600/IMG_4133.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="136" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgALxqO-LaPW0XnHjVveQ1eG03-IEWSSktd1f9FGljTFYXCXCOGTUqCmnF_YIsWrGArwQwew4gFqEPwHg1RO7y92xycDJrmPOzuuTnaYAUe-iz4gVaI79_bH-lrlXhuUTIzNNVjKKVMrfs/s400/IMG_4133.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
... which would have been easier if Nala didn't decide she likes the necklace-strips too... (As for the squidoos? Not interested!)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgX5Xpi5ewkcRzSUwlBs7n6hlo-IMEGHLBmhKpKw9FyJDhyf-eyNF5QKcXhYEYcJHmtHDt6DIyv7HVJfzjyMZCHychnpseKw57f7ZSNkwbH-8XA42Xvv0shOK14xKQjruf35NYkq4RuD68/s1600/IMG_4154.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="297" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgX5Xpi5ewkcRzSUwlBs7n6hlo-IMEGHLBmhKpKw9FyJDhyf-eyNF5QKcXhYEYcJHmtHDt6DIyv7HVJfzjyMZCHychnpseKw57f7ZSNkwbH-8XA42Xvv0shOK14xKQjruf35NYkq4RuD68/s400/IMG_4154.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
But eventually I did manage to put it together and I'm loving it! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihe8fgCYhfjq3okq-5AbdNKHg9mlPkGDSzt5Drn8zU5EdWpURVd-sCsW5TGBExgZQuj3A9JNeyJGgjt5-wjbhfS3syMzoYdb3n3UwHU_Qhg9Z3lHU4YCYFrKKwr8NjpRQ28KTwdUJsc_s/s1600/IMG_4158.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihe8fgCYhfjq3okq-5AbdNKHg9mlPkGDSzt5Drn8zU5EdWpURVd-sCsW5TGBExgZQuj3A9JNeyJGgjt5-wjbhfS3syMzoYdb3n3UwHU_Qhg9Z3lHU4YCYFrKKwr8NjpRQ28KTwdUJsc_s/s400/IMG_4158.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Next week there'll be a picture of me wearing it, promise! So that's that for what I did this week.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As for my half-year 'evaluation' of my YoP list, I'm surprised to say that most of my FO's came from my original list! I think I'm finally getting my impulsive spirit under control when it comes to starting new projects! How about that?! I'm still not sure whether I'll be able to complete my list, but I'm determined to give it a try!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For those who are interested, here's my <a href="http://lilygetscrafty.blogspot.nl/p/year-of-projects.html" target="_blank">updated list</a> with FO pictures!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Are you ready for Christmas? We still have some groceries to do tomorrow, but other than that we're good! It's nasty outside, grey and dark with cold winds and rain, so I have no intention of going outside today. A lovely day for knitting and crochet!<br />
<br />
I just finished my <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/basketweave-12-afghan-square" target="_blank">'Boxing with Basketweave blanket'</a>. It turned out to be a bit smaller than I expected, but I love the neon pink edging and I'm happy I learned a new crochet stitch. I'll donate the blanket to the animal shelter here in Amsterdam, since they're always asking for blankets.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiD4ignp3qI7P_0WotxZPX_gWjsw_gL2AW3f0xDA8JgqURF1trP_uCHpkE9JqDzVOnsU4kmUWmxu8I8fKxxXhxFlLQI_sBCwIZSJhFJkmxv2Bb9EP-nCgO0k6AAG1otW3ctrOEaVq5ubM/s1600/IMG_4062.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiD4ignp3qI7P_0WotxZPX_gWjsw_gL2AW3f0xDA8JgqURF1trP_uCHpkE9JqDzVOnsU4kmUWmxu8I8fKxxXhxFlLQI_sBCwIZSJhFJkmxv2Bb9EP-nCgO0k6AAG1otW3ctrOEaVq5ubM/s400/IMG_4062.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a>The <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/baby-snuggle-wrap" target="_blank">Snuggle Wrap</a> is coming along slowly.. I still feel like a newbie at knitting and I alternate between knit and crochet projects so that ofcourse also slows down the project. But it's growing nevertheless!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5n0VmzHMZZwL6pPu-h0BXqMyX2RwN2A-FbjExe8OpIniKJyjpXCpztWdORQUL7J4Rii9lTgO3lQaEvVCChW5NSoPOUhdXr7MK7g48eGI6N5YIxKn7_ahLc9zDMvkviKB5jjh7oFLyQaQ/s1600/IMG_4059.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5n0VmzHMZZwL6pPu-h0BXqMyX2RwN2A-FbjExe8OpIniKJyjpXCpztWdORQUL7J4Rii9lTgO3lQaEvVCChW5NSoPOUhdXr7MK7g48eGI6N5YIxKn7_ahLc9zDMvkviKB5jjh7oFLyQaQ/s400/IMG_4059.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
And I was in the mood for a 'little, happy' project, so I made these little <a href="http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Lily-Razz/knitted-kitty" target="_blank">Knitties</a>! I made the first kitty (right) according to the pattern, and the second kitty (left) with a 50% increase of all the numbers. I think the bow makes them look festive!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlRdkELQOsBNV5zGLtAryPPYcJIohyphenhyphenEpjY5L41PcnfK3umIiL7PDtirGZ_sZxnQrDJlYuh73J7LK4heLf-CZDb7uCz_xoi79hMcjlQfNQoIVCkTQkaQF9nJV7E5zumbdXHlzb5OzXrU_Y/s1600/IMG_4051.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlRdkELQOsBNV5zGLtAryPPYcJIohyphenhyphenEpjY5L41PcnfK3umIiL7PDtirGZ_sZxnQrDJlYuh73J7LK4heLf-CZDb7uCz_xoi79hMcjlQfNQoIVCkTQkaQF9nJV7E5zumbdXHlzb5OzXrU_Y/s400/IMG_4051.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
It's getting dark so I'm off lighting the candles, and snuggle up under a blanket where I'll review my YoP list to pick a new crochet project!<br />
<br />
I wish you all an amazing Christmas, and don't forget: Enjoy!<br />

As you might know, we (friend+me) have been making wee little hats for Innocent from mid November (Original post <a href="http://lilygetscrafty.blogspot.nl/2013/11/de-goedgemutste-breicampagne.html" target="_blank">here</a>). The time has now come to deliver all the hats we've made so Innocent can put the hats on the bottles and distribute the bottled hats to stores all over the Netherlands! But how many did the two of us make? </div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
(drumroll please)</div>
