The Joy of Slouch!

Recently I've crocheted two slouch hats.

We've had a cold-ish summer so I've been excited to wear these, but somehow the weather has been warm the last few days! Yaay! But... now I can't wear my hats! Bummer..

I'm also a bit thrown off crocheting because it's that hot.. What do you think? Should I think of a summer project to crochet? Or should I just enjoy the weather and not crochet? Do you make a summer project lately?

It feels like we skipped the summer weather this year. We went from winter to spring-like weather to fall! I love the sun and the warmth and everything about summer! So I´m sad! On the other hand it inspires me to craft!

Based on this tutorial I made these cute mushroom-babies!

I love my Mom

I love my mom. And her birthday is coming up. I'm not sure what to get her! She's one of those persons who has everything already! And she'll probably won't LOVE something handmade.. After all, I'm not 6 anymore ^_^

Although... I probably could make something. Something lovely. But what? I already crocheted a shawl for her last christmas. She did love that..

What have you given your mom on her last birthday? Did she give you hints what to give her or did you think of it yourself?

I'll need to think about it.. In the meantime suggestions are welcome!

Isn´t life sweet..

The other day I made this cotton candy bally for a friend of mine:

But I never dared to expect such a lovely reaction from her. She said nothing at first but just gave me the biggest hug! So sweet! Isn´t life sweet? I think it is!

Oh My!

It has been eight months(!!!!) since my last post! I can't believe it has been so long!

To be honest, I needed a bit of time. Time for me. I won't go into detail because well.. I just won't. Everybody has rough patches in their life, and I just went through one I think. I wasn't able to post messages, I wasn't able to read other blogs. But you know what? I can now! I'm here writing this message! Yay!

Blowing Bubbles

I have this theory: I believe there's a little girl hidden in every one, that sometimes wants to get out. Proffesional lawyer-ladies, mothers, grandma's and yes - even men/boys want to be a little girl sometimes. Because little girls get spoiled - often more than little boys - don't have to act tough and get away with a lot. That's my theory and I hope everyone will embrace that one day.
