Bag: With 2 strands of yarn, ch 56. Join with a sl st in the first ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: ch 3, 3dc into the first chain (=1 shell), *skip 1 ch, 4dc into the next chain,* repeat from *-* and finish with a sl st in first ch 3... (=28 shells.)
Rnd 2: sl st over to the middle of the first shell. Ch 3, 3dc into the middle of the same shell, * 4dc into the middle of the next shell.* Repeat from *-* and finish with a sl st in first ch 3. Repeat round 2 until there are 24 rounds (total).
Change to single yarn by cutting the thread of one skein. Sl st into the first ch3 again. Ch1, sc into the middle of the first shell, *sk 1 dc, sc into the next dc, sc into the middle of the next shell,* repeat from *-* and sc into the first ch 1. Crochet 3 more rounds with 1 sc into each sc. Cut the thread.

Strap: With single yarn, ch 4, turn and crochet 1 sc in 2nd chain from hook, 1 dc into the next 2 dc = 3dc. Continue with 1 sc into each sc, turning at the end of each row with 1 ch- until strap measures 50 - 110 cm (depending on your preference). Crochet a border along each long side of the strap, with 1 sc into each st.

Lily razz 1st bag - flowers
Flower#1 (approx. 4,5cm)

Bottom layer: With color of your choice, ch 3, sl st to make ring. Ch 3, 11 dc in ring. Sl st to third chain of beginning ch3. (12dc)
*4dc in next dc, sc in next dc*. Repeat from * but ending with a sl st on last dc to close round. Cut yarn and weave in end.
Top layer: With color of your choice, ch 4, sl st to make ring. *Ch 3 and sc in ring*, repeat from* four times more. Sl st to close round. (You'll have 5 petals) Work in each chain loop of previous round: 1sc, 3dc, 1sc. Cut yarn and weave in end.
Sew the two flower layers together, the top layer on the bottom one, and sew a nice button on the center.

Flower#2 (approx. 6cm):
Bottom layer: With color of your choice, start with a "magic ring" OR ch 4, close with slip stitch to form a ring. Crochet into ring: (1 sc, ch 7) 5 times. You now have a total of 5 ch-7-loops in your ring. Close with sl st in first sc.
*1 sc, 1hdc, 2 dc, 3 tr, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc*.  Repeat from * in each of your 7-ch-loops, close with sl st into first sc of round. Fasten off. Now pull your magic ring closed and form the petals if necessary by pulling them a bit. Weave in ends.
Top layer: same as flower# 1
Sew the two flower layers together, the top layer on the bottom one, and sew a nice button on the center.

Assembly: Sew the strap into each side at the top of the bag. Turn the bag inside out and crochet together the bottom of the bag with sc through both sides. Thread the ribbon through the last round of shells at the top of the bag. Sew the flowers you've made on the bag.

Lining:  Fold the fabric in half with right sides facing outward. Put the bag on top, and trace the shape of the bag onto the fabric. Take off the bag and pin around the traced lines. Cut out the fabric about 1,5 cm away from the traced line for seam allowance. Sew the sides together within the traced line. Put the lining inside the bag. Fold the top of the lining, about 1,5cm  between the fabric and the bag and pin into place. Sew the lining into the top of the bag, preferably using reverse slip stitch.

Note! Sew flowers on bag BEFORE fixing the lining, so you don't have to sew through the lining. The inside of bag will look neater this way.

If you make it, please share it! I'd love to see it!!
