Two FO's and a Smile

Happy Sunday everyone!

One of the 2 WIPs I talked about last Wednesday is done! It's my Longing for Autumn jacket and I'm wearing it as I'm typing this post! ^-^
I haven't made better pictures yet but here's an impression of what it looks like:
It's so nice and comfy to wear, I'm really happy with it! I used a smaller hook (because I didn't have a bigger one) and compensated with using the Large-size startchains and pattern repeats and it worked! **Smile!**

And for a Christmas Present I wanted to make the Martha Cowl scarf but unfortunately the pattern was taken down, so I decided to make a granny scarf instead. Such an easy pattern, and done before I knew it!
I'm still going to try to replicate the Martha Cowl scarf since many ravelers seem to have done so. But I'm happy I made the granny scarf as well!

So there you have it, a two FO's and a big smile!

Hope you all have a lovely week! x Lily

Your mods seemed to have worked out perfectly - the sweater looks great on you!

I think you can reverse engineer the martha cowl. Many of the ravelers have detailed notes in their project pages to give you a starting point. Good luck!

Congratulations on your finished projects. The wrap looks very cozy and the scarf has great colors.

Your jacket looks lovely and obviously is as you are able to wear it, not just look at it, like a jumper I made which was so heavy when it was made, I couldn't bear to put it on! Your scarf looks good too, what a shame the pattern you wanted isn't available any more. I am still very taken by your Canada cowl and it definitely on my list.

You've outdone yourself. Your autumn jacket looks great on you and I love that you did it in white. Too bad about the Martha cowl but your granny scarf looks great -- I love baby blue with grey. Very pretty.

Thank you all so much for your kind words on my projects! I like blogging about crochet but your comments just make it even better! ^_^

Hooray for you! What a fun jacket to wear and layer with. A great warm scarf to keep one's neck cozy! Why do you think the Martha Cowl was taken down?

Thank you Marie and Sarah!

Kepanie I love your idea to add a scarf! I have no idea why the pattern was taken down, but I think it's a shame though!
