Mollie & Wuppie!

Well, I finished the 2nd kitty.. So now they can play together!

They make me smile, the little rascals!

Pattern available here!

"I’m cute, and I’m gonna get ya!"

That's what somebody said when she saw my first finished kitty:

I'm making two of these, one lighter pink and one darker pink. And I named them after the cats of my boyfriend (R.I.P) Mollie and Wuppie.. And this is Mollie..

Hope her sis will be just as sweet!

Got my Swap On!

I've already posted about my first swap offer, but I didn't post a picture of what I've got in return!!

It's lovely! I'm so excited! It's two chocolatebrown-colored feathers and a whole bunch of beads (wooden, glass and pearly-something) and I love it!!!

Can't wait to make something out of it, but I'm not sure what I'll make yet! But I'm so excited!!!!! ^_^

There's another bunny!

Long time since I made one of these, but there's another bunny! It's alive and kicking (well, not literally) I've rekindled my love for sewing these lovelies together! Not sure what makes me love them though..

Oversized beanie or a slouchy hat?

Is it an oversized beanie or a slouchy hat? Anyway.. yesterday I finished my first one and I have to say..  I'm kind of proud! I never imagined myself crocheting a hat, and even one that would fit my head! All it took was some yarn, a hook, some creativity & some curse words and voila!

Holiday Ankle Bracelet!

Two weeks ago I went for a short sunny holiday (big smile!) and decided I wanted to have an ankle bracelet. I've always loved ankle bracelets and feel they're a part of summer as well as holidays!

Since I was so excited being able to improvise my crocheted necklace, I thought - let's try a simple ankle bracelet as well.. I had a cute wooden heartshaped button and took some off-white colored yarn and voila!

Old Jeans + Wooden Box = Upcycle project!

Upcycling is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or a higher environmental value.

I wasn't aware of this new term (which obviously isn't so new anymore, but to me it is) but I think my latest project falls under this category of "upcycling". This is what I've done!

1) I took my wooden "memory-box" (where I keep all sorts of memory-thingies, obviously (: )
