Together with Fairyhedgehog from Ravelry, I did a crochet lace-along!
We chose this pattern to make our first hairpin lace crochet project!
Here are some pictures of the work in progress:
It was fun to do it together with someone else so you can compare notes and you don't feel so alone trying a whole new crochet-skill!
We both thought of doing less than 5 strips, I wanted a skinny shawl so I only made two strips!
In the end I wasn't totally happy since my shawl ended up being only 1,5m long..
But we'll see what happens after washing (I'll just hang it and see if it'll stretch!)

It looks really good. I thought joining the strips was the hardest bit and mine isn't quite finished yet!
I also like how yours is looking Fairy, even though it's not finished yet! I thought the hardest bit was keeping all the loops on my fork since it was a bit small for 240lps!
Thank you for your nice compliment, FoFo ^_^
Love the scarf and love the link you provided to all those free patterns - Yum!
Thanks Caroline! I hope other people like it too!
Hello Lily, This hairpin is really wonderful, I never try hairpin. I think I should to try it after I saw your lovely slim scarf.
