I’m currently knitting this pattern for my daughter and I was wondering how long you made yours. My daughter is in California so I don’t really know what a good length would be. I’m at 8” right now and wondered if you went longer than that?

Hi Cindi,

Mine are just about that length! You could make them longer, then she'll have the possibility to fold them (over the boot). Happy knitting!

Could you knit these using circulars or DPNs to avoid sewing them together at the end

Lily Razz said...

Dear Joanne, I'm not sure as I never have used circular DPN's before. I think it shouldn't be a problem. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

When I cast on the 42 stitches, it seemed really small. How much does this stretch?

Lily Razz said...

Hi Amanda,

This does stretch a lot, but of course it depends on what kind of yarn you use.
